Pascale Elia

I was born from musician parents in Belgium and was lucky to grow up in a beautiful jazz nest; the nest of international jazz musicians such as Toots Thielmans, Jacques Pelzer, Bobby Jaspar, René Thomas, and Django Reinhardt.

I started my musical path at age six but made my first big step in music at age 15 performing with The Big Band of “Liège”, singing Count Basie, Duke Ellington, songs from the Great American Song Book and the French classics (Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Claude Nougaro, Charles Aznavour). I also performed weekly at the very popular cabarets “La Notte” and “Les Caves de Porto” where I shared the stage with some of the most inspiring musicians.

With many different influences around, I definitely approached and enjoyed different styles (contemporary, blues, soul/R&B, fusion, rock, cuban, ...) before settling for jazz, brazilian and world music styles which remain first in my heart.

I started singing original material with my first band, worked as a session vocalist, appeared on several TV shows and got involved in several creations and recordings. I created the “Pascale Elia Trio” shortly after, showing original compositions and arrangements with hints of swing, saudade and blues and became a trotter, performing in clubs, festivals and concert halls throughout Belgium, Luxemburg, The Netherlands and Germany.

Relocating to the U.S.A. (Los Angeles) six years ago, I currently live in Las Vegas and have been performing and recording alongside musicians such as:
